Happy Tuesday! I hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day off. We spent ours painting, priming, and installing ceiling fans. It amazes me that I’ve been able to live with my house in its current state, but I’m trying to remind myself it will be worth it in the end. This week will be a busy one getting our kitchen in order and then installing floors at some point. I’m also trying to get the nursery set up, which has been slow going. Hopefully we’ll have something complete before her arrival?
Now that it’s after September 1st, we can all grab our PSL’s and ankle booties, right? I’m not ready, yet I’m ready because the heat has been entirely too difficult for me lately. My comfort level is significantly decreasing and the heat makes it worse. So while I would love for summer to last forever, I am welcoming slightly cooler temps (even though this week is supposed to be crazy hot). This embroidered dress is another great seasonal transition piece that I highly recommend you add to your closet! I love that it’s a slightly bohemian look, and it’s midi length. I think it could even be worn into the winter months with a maxi cardigan and some knee high boots. I’m sure I’ll be styling it again on the blog here at some point.
