Fitness has always been important to me, and that hasn’t changed during this pregnancy. There are so many added benefits for mom and baby when mom stays active as best (and as safely) she can during the length of her pregnancy (of course, under medical supervision). I was active with Landon for as long as medically possible, and even though I was on modified bed rest for 10 weeks, I’m convinced my previously active lifestyle and healthy eating contributed to my incredible labor. I’m hoping this one will be just the same!

Life gets in the way A LOT, we can all agree on that, right? What I love about this challenge is Chris makes it possible to do anywhere, even at work! Which gives you no excuses to get up and get moving. Lately I’ve been incorporating some of the movements into my playground workouts with Landon. He gets to play while mom utilizes playground equipment to get in a quick workout! I use the park benches for push-ups (so my belly doesn’t get in the way) or step-ups, and getting in some plank holds, squats, and mountain climbers is always easy while the little man is sliding down the slide. I’ve even gotten in some modified burpees while pushing him on the swings! Here’s an example of one of the movements Chris encourages you to incorporate into your workout:
